Lekshmi is a Senior Programme Associate working with the Public Finance team in Tamil Nadu at CEGIS. Prior to CEGIS, she was with the Ramaiah Public Policy Centre (RPPC) and Centre for Budget and Policy studies (CBPS), where she specialised in budget analysis. 

She holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy and Governance from Azim Premji University.
