Anima is a Senior Program Associate in the Personnel Management vertical at CEGIS. Prior to this, she worked at Kudumbashree National Resource Organisation, an institution recognized by the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, in the domains of poverty eradication, institution building, and livelihoods through entrepreneurship among rural women. In the early years of her career, she worked in Jharkhand, implementing livelihood and entrepreneurship projects at the grassroots level. She then spent three years focusing on capacity building for stakeholders across 18 states.

She has a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Asutosh College, Calcutta University and a Master’s in Social Work in Livelihoods and Social Entrepreneurship from Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai.
