Prutha is a Program Associate with the Project Delivery team at CEGIS.. Before joining CEGIS, Prutha was working as a Policy Research Associate to the Hon’ble Health Minister of Karnataka. During this tenure, Prutha also assisted the Hon'ble Health Minister in the capacity of a political consultant in the area of political strategy and communications. Additionally, she also keeps keen interest in academic research on various policy issues spanning from health, gender issues to political issues and has several publications to her credit.

She has a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from St.Xavier's College, Mumbai and a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the National Law School of India University, Bangalore.
