Palak is a Senior Program Associate with the Outcome Measurement Team at CEGIS. Prior to joining CEGIS, she was a Statistical Investigator with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) - National Institute of Medical Statistics, contributing to the National Burden of Disease Study. Palak also gained valuable experience at Sigma Research, a market research firm, where she conducted research across diverse sectors including education, health, and livelihoods.

Palak holds a Ph.D. in Population Studies from the International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS), Mumbai, along with a Master’s degrees in Population Studies from IIPS and Statistics from Kurukshetra University. She also holds an honors degree in Mathematics from Delhi University. Her expertise lies in applied statistics, epidemiology, and public health, with a focus on leveraging data for impactful research.
