Program Manager

Tarul Jain is a Program Manager with the Outcome Measurement team in Delhi. She brings over five years of experience in monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL), impact assessments, and portfolio evaluations across diverse thematic areas including education, health, livelihoods, climate, governance, and child protection. Prior to joining CEGIS, she worked with Athena Infonomics as part of the Global MEL Team, where she managed multi-country evaluations and portfolio reviews for organizations such as the British High Commission, Clean Air Fund (CAF) and the International Development Research Centre (IDRC). She has also worked with Development Solutions Inc., contributing to large-scale evaluations and assessments for UN agencies, philanthropic foundations, and academic institutions across projects on SRHR, WASH, livelihoods, EdTech, and the socio-economic impacts of COVID-19.

She holds an M.Sc. in Economics from TERI School of Advanced Studies, New Delhi, and a B.A. (Hons) in Economics from Delhi University. She is mostly involved in data-driven research, mixed-methods research, stakeholder engagement, and building evidence systems that can inform inclusive policies. She strongly believes in fostering local change as a pathway to achieving global impact.
