A COMPREHENSIVE OVERVIEW

The KPI Survey, a flagship initiative of the Planning Department of a state, addresses data availability and sufficiency challenges for informed policy decisions. By collecting data from households and communities, the survey generates district-level and mandal-level estimates of key outcome indicators every year. 

Human resource allocation in governments is determined on the basis of sanctioned positions and filled posts across different roles. The dynamic nature of key responsibilities and scope for each position, especially at the frontline, leads to divergence over a period between actual needs and allocation.
