Azin Mir

Program Manager

Azin Mir is a Program Manager in the Outcome Measurement team, based in Odisha.

Azin is a development sector professional from Kashmir with over five years of experience spanning rural governance, program management, monitoring and evaluation, and team leadership. Prior to joining CEGIS, she worked as Team Lead at Impact Dash, where she mentored a team of seven senior researchers and led end-to-end implementation of 20+ program evaluations, working with partners such as the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and Tata Trusts. She has also led large-scale impact assessments in partnership with organisations such as the University of Sheffield (BMGF-funded), Aflatoun International, Dvara Research, and Global School Leaders.

Her most formative years were spent with Kudumbashree National Resource Organization where she served as the State Project Coordinator for the PRI–CBO Convergence Project across six districts in Assam, coordinating directly with State Rural Livelihoods Missions and line departments for statewide implementation. She also worked as District Coordinator for the project in two districts in Assam, overseeing implementation across three phases.

Azin holds a Master's in Social Work (Public Health) from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. She is passionate about strengthening the systems that connect government data to real decisions and the communities those decisions affect.
