Annesha Mukherjee is a Senior Program Associate in the Project Delivery team in Uttar Pradesh. 
She pursued her Ph.D. in Economics at the Centre for Development Studies, Kerala. Annesha holds a M.Phil degree in Applied Economics from Jawaharlal Nehru University and a Masters degree in Economics from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, West Bengal.

Prior to joining CEGIS, she worked at the Madras Institute of Development Studies, where she analysed the key development indicators of marginalised communities in Tamil Nadu using both secondary and primary data. 
Annesha’s interests lie in gender, labour markets, education, social protection, and public policies. Her expertise lies in analysing large-scale datasets, mixed-methods data collection, monitoring, cleaning and managing primary survey data, field research, and applied economic analysis.
