Samridhi is a Senior Program Associate with the Strategic Public Finance vertical in Tamil Nadu, working with the state's finance department. Previously, she worked as a Research Associate at the Centre for Policy Research, Delhi, where she focused on quantitatively analyzing the rural economy, fiscal federalism, and state capacity in India.

She holds a Master's degree in Economics from the Barcelona School of Economics, Spain, and a post-graduate diploma in Economics, specialising in Public Policy, from the Meghnad Desai Academy of Economics, Mumbai, where she was an Adam Smith Scholar. She has a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Daulat Ram College, University of Delhi.
