Shivani Raturi
Shivani Raturi is a Strategy Associate at CEGIS. Prior to this, she was a Yahel Social Change Fellow, living and working in Israel. During her time there, she worked in research and resource development at Isha L’Isha, one of Israel’s first grassroots feminist organisations and also taught English as a foreign language (TEFL) in Haifa, Israel. Coming from an interdisciplinary liberal arts background, she is particularly interested in gender and education and policies that lie at their intersection.
She holds a Master’s degree in gender studies from Ambedkar University, Delhi and has a Bachelor’s in English literature from Lady Shri College for Women, University of Delhi. She was also a Young India Fellow at Ashoka University, an experience that gave her a broad perspective on developmental challenges in the Indian context.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing and discussing all things pop culture. She has many curiosities and hopes to travel and learn more about the world in the years to come.
