Sumit Arora is the Lead, Technology at CEGIS. He brings nearly two decades of experience across the technology ecosystem, beginning his career with core tech organisations such as Cadence Design Systems and Samsung Electronics. He also founded and ran his own software company for five years.

A decade ago, Sumit transitioned to the social impact sector, where he has led technology and partnerships at organisations including Janaagraha Centre for Citizenship and Democracy and the Centre for Wildlife Studies, while advising several others on technology strategy and system design.

He holds a Certificate of Excellence in Business Management from the Haas School of Business, University of California, and a Bachelor of Technology from the YMCA Institute of Engineering.
