Introducing Palak Sharma, our dynamic Senior Program Associate at CEGIS, who joined CEGIS-Outcome Measurement in Telangana in August 2023. At the core, Palak's expertise lies in her PhD research, delving into the progression of diabetes through a decade-long analysis of electronic medical records. Her contributions extend beyond academia, with impactful publications in leading journals focused on health and epidemiology. With a diverse academic background, Palak boasts master's degrees in population sciences and statistics, complemented by a foundational mathematics background from Delhi University.

Palak's impactful journey includes a crucial role as a Project Technical Officer at ICMR-National Institute for Medical Sciences, estimating national disease burdens. As a Research Associate at Sigma Research Pvt. Ltd., she actively engaged in projects spanning education, livelihood, women and child health, and WASH sectors. Away from the professional arena, Palak, a former national Lawn Tennis Player, now finds joy in long runs, nature treks, and the serenity of the outdoors
