As the Chief of Staff and Strategy Manager at CEGIS, Apoorva supports the leadership team in organization strategy and operations, people and outreach initiatives and partnerships.

Prior to CEGIS, she served in the office of the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir and worked on industrial policies and initiatives aimed at reviving the film and tourism-driven Himalayan economy. In an earlier stint, she led strategy and policy from the Chairman’s office of an electronics manufacturing company in India, helping shape the course of the company’s investments, and India’s domestic electronics manufacturing trajectory at large. 

She holds a Bachelor’s with Hons degree in Economics with minors in Political Science from  Lady Shri Ram College for Women, University of Delhi. She is also a Hesselbein Global Leadership Fellow, from the Hesselbein Global Academy for Student Leadership and Civic Engagement, University of Pittsburgh.  Apoorva is an equity advocate and a systems thinker who is passionate about building a harmonious, just world for all things living.
