Governance Dialogues on Education: "Working with Markets in Education to Deliver Better Learning Outcomes"

28 November 2025 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM

Venue: Online via Zoom

About the webinar

Governance Dialogues is a series of webinars anchored by CEGIS to bring together ecosystem partners to discuss topics relevant to governance and our theory of change. It serves as a forum for exchange of ideas rather than a showcase of CEGIS’ work. The webinars are moderated by CEGIS and have participants from government, civil society organisations, domain, and technical experts.

The upcoming webinar will focus on ‘Working with Markets in Education to Deliver Better Learning Outcomes.’ It will explore how market-based supply can serve as effective channels to enhance choice, autonomy, accountability, and ultimately, learning outcomes in the education system. It will also examine key ways the government can engage with private schools through regulation and policy, and examine how the Right to Education (RTE) and Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) can expand access, strengthen compliance, and enhance cost-effectiveness and scalability in the private school ecosystem.
