Devashish leads the Strategic Public Finance vertical within CEGIS, comprising projects across Revenue Augmentation and improving Quality of Expenditure in all CEGIS partner states. 

He has previously worked in public finance and government accountability with Accountability Initiative (CPR), and in outcomes measurement, and policy and public opinion research with Kantar Public Affairs. He has also worked with the Foundation for Economic Development, a sister concern within The Convergence Foundation. He has worked in multiple sectors spanning social and economic policy.

Devashish holds an MSc in Economics from the University of Warwick, and has studied the Advanced Management Programme in Public Policy at the Indian School of Business (ISB).
