Aparna Dwivedi is Manager, Communications at CEGIS. Prior to joining CEGIS, she was a Communications Specialist at the National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA) and Communications Officer with the Scaling City Institutions for India initiative at the Centre for Policy Research (CPR). Before making a transition to the development sector, she was a journalist with CNN-News18 where she worked for over 5 years as an editor, producer and senior correspondent. She holds a post-graduate diploma in journalism from the Asian College of Journalism in Chennai with a specialisation in Broadcast Journalism from BBC World News and has a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the Banaras Hindu University (BHU). Aparna is passionate about causes that determine life in India, such as access to education, healthcare and housing.
