His expertise spans research project management, policy advocacy, budget analysis, and leadership of multidisciplinary teams.

He has led several large-scale studies across multiple Indian states, developed frameworks for gender and child budgeting, contributed to policy reforms, and trained diverse stakeholders including government officials, NGOs, elected representatives, and public policy students. Madhusudhan holds an MSc in Agricultural Economics from the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore.
